I am from the Bronx, and use to go to Greek diners there and other diners in Queens. I have also enjoyed diners in New Jersey. I was advised to go to the Double T Diner in Maryland. It is now my favorite !! There are more than one. We went to the one in Ellicot, MD. There place is big bright and cheerful. The staff is  friendly and attentive. Our waiter, Oscar, was super ! The crab balls were  a really good appetizer. The cream crab soup was amazing and the crab imperial was spectacular. I don't often write reviews of places I eat at, but The  Double T deserves it. Great food at a decent price! Wonderful retro atmosphere, and the waitresses we've had have always been pleasant. Extremely large and varied menu.

2nd time at this location!  EXCELLENT staff!  From walking in the door, to leaving everyone is polite, friendly and makes you feel comfortable. 
Food was OUTSTANDING, well prepared, beautifully placed and very fresh!

At most restaurants, when they are busy with orders, I think they heat up meat in a microwave oven. Microwave oven cooked or heated foods are quickly become chewy.  I had to order something else. Last time when I ate here, everything was good.  So it's better to visit here off peak hours.

Decided to try a new place and support small/local business instead of our usual place. Slow service getting seated. Food (including the hot chocolate) wasn't flavorful or hot. Found a hair in my food and they took $4.00 off of a $13.00 meal instead of refunding us the entire meal. After all that they refused to give me an itemized receipt for my records instead of just the credit card receipt. Won't be going back here.
