I stayed here on business for many years eventually moving on to other properties. I just when back on a trip booked by a client and had a bit of concern about how the property may have aged. I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted at checked in by delightful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The place clearly was refurbished somewhere along the way. I loved the business center placed right next to the bar with both privacy and convenience. The room was nice and spacious. The warm cookies were as wonderful as ever and the stay was a delight. Check out also was also delightful. Recommended for business and pleasure.

A family member had made a reservation through a 3rd party for the wrong night. The night had passed and when I called to try and get our rooms next to each other, they said there was no reservation under that name for that night. Ghana, the front desk agent, took his time to help me find the resume and the problem. Hotwire was of no help, and trip insurance was even purchased. I frantically called the hotel back and Ghana said that only the GM would be able to make a change like this and provided me with his email address. The GM called me as soon as the holiday was over and addressed my issue directly. He took the time to listen and understand our delicate problem and circumstances behind the importance of the reservation. He then said he would call me back since he was going into a meeting. The next day I received a voicemail from his accountant, Joe, and he let me know that he made the reservation for the correct night with no additional charge. GOD IS GOOD! Thank you DoubleTree for the true hospitality that was exuded today. We do not express positive feedback enough, and I wanted to make sure I expressed mine with you today. Thank You! To all considering this hotel, know that it is operated with integrity and true hospitality.

It was very busy there this weekend but the room was nice and the bed comfortable. Room service is always a plus. Room service was great and so was the food. The burger was juicy and cooked the way we requested. I haven't stayed at the Double Tree in a long while but will definitely be back. I love thus one in particular because they have everything either at the hotel so you don't have to leave if you want to really spend a weekend in( restaurant, bar, indoor pool and jacuzzi ) and enough entertainment nearby. The mall, movies, D and B....

Stayed in room 506 on 1/13-1/14. Staff allowed Kids to run the hotel floors like banshees and bang on doors theoughout the night. The room next to us had 15+ kids in it and stomped/banged walls/screaming till 2am. We called front desk. Though they came up the noise continued. We were in town for a Lacrosse tournament. Felt so bad for my son as he literally got no sleep. So frustrating. I was half tempted to bang on there door at 7am when we left. Ugh. Tired and frustrated.

The hotel and staff itself are great. The indoor pool room was 60 degrees and the water was cool. It was unbearable to swim. Alerted the staff and said they would send someone. Nobody ever came. Great hotel, but the pool area leaves a lot to be desired. Also no towels.
