Came here with my sister based on her experience. The wait time was pretty long, no doubt. It’s simply worth it. The pricing is VERY fair. Nice large servings that can accommodate most anyone. The owner is absolutely charming and his care for his craft is evident in everything he does. The inside is very cozy and is a perfect spot for your first date or your hundredth date. Overall I can’t recommend this place enough!! Come here with a pocket of patience is all I advise.

Come here if you want to have an experience. I have not been to any other place like this. The  pizza is good, pasta is good, everything is good! Don’t come here for fast food. Come here for a great time with Giuseppe and enjoy the night! You’ll come out with smiles from ear to ear.  Edit: And don’t use your phone!! Talk with each other, laugh with each other, be present with each other!

Just talking about Giuseppe's food makes my boyfriend smile from ear to ear. I didn't know if I should be jealous. But after trying it for myself, I can't be mad! Thank you for the thoughtful, delicious and love-infused food!  Dietary restrictions: Vegan pizza available

We had a private birthday party. The food was absolutely amazing, and Giuseppe the owner is not only the best Italian chef in town, he is also a beautiful human! I wish you all as much fun as we had at Dough Vale.

Incredible place. The owner who’s also the chef and the server is a great guy. He made the wrong order for us so we had to wait for 20 minutes and man none of those 20 minutes was boring thanks to him. Honestly, the man’s high on life. Come here if you want some good pizza and a good time.

We got the Parma pizza and it was AMAZING - crispy bottom throughout, light, fresh, super flavourful! The two men working there were so so friendly and took care of us. Highly recommend!!

Whether you’re a local or visiting, coming here will be one of your better decisions you’ve made in a long time. Amazing food with the best host - can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!  With all options in NYC we don’t often return to places but what Giuseppe is offering with Dough Vale is a truly unique experience & a fresh of breath air. You’ll see us here whenever we’re craving Italian or some good vibes!

Giuseppe is a true pizzaiolo and a gem. I had a wonderful conversation with him and enjoyed his pizza. He puts passion into his pizza and it's reflected 10 fold in taste. Molto buono!!Food: 5/5

Came here with my bf for a Friday wrap up dinner. We recently moved from Southern California, so finding a pizza spot in the neighborhood is a must. This place is an absolute gem! Food selection is colorful and delicious. The staff is accomodating and makes you feel welcomed. They know their food! P.S. the restaurant is BYOB. Perfect for date night.
