Quite nice library. You will find everything what you want. Two floors of books, DVD, music... Internet, spaces to read, study, 3D print, copy machine, drop boxes for books outside library. Kids section is fun. Programs for families and adults. Their website is decent, you can do almost everything through that.

Good library and a nice staff.  Kids section is amazing and the free movie on Saturday makes for a cheap family activity.

Books, interlibrary loan, great spaces for meetings, and great spaces for reading. The staff is courteous and helpful. I read a review that someone said the staff weren't "enthusiastic workers"; it's a library not a gym. I don't library for enthusiasm, I library for knowledge and serenity. DPL does a great job covering those bases.

Worst library I've ever been to. Most of the staff are not enthusiastic workers. Many "down and outer's" frequent libraries. The staff seems aware of this, thus the "down-trodden" are treated in judgmental ways. If anything, the staff should be extra encouraging and uplifting. Also, libraries are nonprofit organizations. The rates for printing, copying, late fees, etc., are the highest I've ever seen. It's sad.
