Exeter Public Library’s vision is to be the informational hub for the Exeter area, a
vital institution that attracts and stimulates a vibrant community.

Mission

Exeter Public Library's mission is to promote a literate, enlightened citizenship by
providing equal access to a range of media, services and programs to meet the
informational, educational and recreational needs of the community; and to
encourage the discovery and evaluation of ideas and information, especially
recognizing the library's responsibility as a place for children to discover the joy of
reading

Really helpful librarians that you can get to know and and a wide variety of books and activities are all things that the Exeter Public Library has. They have fun books groups and warm staff and when I enter the library, I am often welcomed by name. Even when you can't find a book they will search high and low and dedicate their time to retrieving it either from some hidden crevice in the library or from borrowing it from another library. Or sometimes they just buy the book. The environment they have created is wonderful and I would recommend this library to anyone and everyone.

Our town has such a great library. Staff are very friendly & helpful as well. The view of the river is a bonus.

I love this library so much! The book groups are really fun, and you get to do a craft or a game of some variety. On Thursdays, for 11-18 year-olds, the EPL ♥'s YA group is really fun, and generally silly. Sometimes, the library hosts events, such as the Hamilton Sing-A-Long, which was really cool. This library is great!
