I fell in love with the clinic immediately when I walked in the door.  Despite being in a downtown/urban location, when you walk in you find yourself in a truly welcoming atmosphere; the staff is friendly and helpful; the clinic is quiet - not crowded.  As a Transgender Patient, I was/am treated with respect and feel accepted (not just tolerated).  Everyone is highly professional and competent; meeting my unique medical needs.  I mightily recommend this clinic.

Dr. Freeman saw my brother who is elderly and disabled. Appointment with Dr. Freeman could not have been better. She is very intelligent. She was  insightful in her diagnosis and both concerned and pleasant to work with. She listened well and was willing to discuss options and alternatives. Pretty clear she really likes solving problems and helping people. She has plenty of energy. She was excellent with her diagnosis and follow through. We could not have been happier. A+

As a transgender person I went to Dr. Freeman for HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) and out of all my doctors I've had she was by far the MOST unprofessional and bordering malpractice at that! She had me come in every 6 weeks as opposed to 6 months, charged the insurance wrong so I would purposefully pay her more (then proceeded to play stupid and act like she didn't know what to do about it). But out of everything, all of the frequent visits and up-charging I dealt with the one thing I have to say was the absolute worst thing ever, when I asked her why I was visiting so much compared to my other doctors she just got up and left. A nurse came in later and proceeded to finish up what she was doing.. despite boasting LGBT friendliness they are two-faced liars who will drain your wallet. Be Warned. This is the third similar case among people I know who have been to this practice. It's a joke. I wish I could rate 0 stars.

I started going to Downtown Doctor soon after they first opened in Austin. Dr. Freeman and her staff are always professional and caring. They listen to me and make me feel like a partner in my healthcare. I highly recommend them.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a clinic. It's not unusual for the receptionist to be rude so I was expecting this. I got to my appointment a few minutes prior to the start and she asked me to fill out the paperwork. The paperwork took me 3 minutes to fill out. I gave it to her and she stated that I was now late and they wouldn't see me. Complete waste of time.
