It was crowded because there was a show at the Palace, so we were stuck at the high top near the door (that people kept leaving open). This is not the restaurant's fault of course, but the food had to speak for itself. It was delicious. Husband had the seared tuna sandwich and I had the indonesian noodles. It was very good. Looking forward to going back on a quieter night.

On my first trip to Albany and on my first night, I called and made reservation for two people for dinner at 5:30 on January week night. A short while later the restaurant call me back and told me that we had to leave the table no later than 6:30 because they had other diners to accommodate. I've never been told by a restaurant to leave early, but exactly at 6:30 I ask for the check, the waitress pointed to a group of people, six speak to be exact and said those people were waiting for the table for two where my friend and I were seated. Shortly after the owner came over and said that they had found another table for the party of six, said we could stay longer if we wanted, but there was no apology. As we'd already received our check, we got up and walked out after a mediocre and overpriced meal. I've always heard that Albany has great restaurants but this is not one of them!

Place to go for a bomb burger. I built my own with goat cheese aioli sauce and sweet potato fries and the burger was massive and delicious. I tried the famous pasta dish the next day and wasn't as impressed with that.
