Excellent diagnostic skills and surgical technique. Dr Lesar absolutely improved my quality of life
Dr lesar saved my foot. Another Dr told me there was nothing else to do but amputation of my foot. I was devastated. Dr lesar did a vein bypass. But it failed..it was my own fault. I didn't stop smoking. It was the longest bypass he ever did. But Dr lesar asked me if I would let him try to open up the vein . I said please try. It worked he opened up the vein. He not only saved my foot but he saved my life. I would not live without my foot. Thank you Dr. Lesar.a great Dr. I did quit smoking this time. And it was the main reason it failed in the 1st place..i would recommend Dr lesar a fantastic Dr that don't give up unless he has to. If he had no other choice. But he will fight till the end. THANK You Dr lesar. You really did save my life.
Dr. Lesar has always been there for me. Not one time, did him or any of his office staff be rude or hateful to me nor my family. He has great communication with the family as well as with me. A Big Shout Out To Jennie and Stephanie in Wound Care . Lots of Love for everyone in this group...
On August 13th, 2018, I took my boyfriend there for surgery to unblock the viens in his legs. From there it was a nightmare I cannot get over. He went from the doctor's office to memorial hospital to the worst thing I have experienced. Dr. Lesar tried to save him but another doctor came in and asked his daughter if she just wanted to let him go after all he was in his 70s. When she arrived I had no say in what happened to him. He tried to tell me and one of his friends but I did not think anyone could be so horrible that they could kill their dad. There is more to the story but I was given five minutes to say goodbye to someone I loved dearly and had been with over eight years and dated for ten. Four nurses walked me back for my last five minutes like I was a dangerous person. There needs to be a procedure enacted so that family cannot kill a relative without a review by the hospital that gives their consent. My boyfriend took no medication and had a physical a little over a week before surgery. I look at pictures of civil war veterans sitting in wheel chairs with both legs amputed and they lived. I don't want this to happen to another person
I really cannot review this doctor. Because I never saw him after 3 visits to his office. I always saw a Master of Nursing and not Dr. Least of all, to say God never graced me with his presence. Yes, I was billed for doctor visits. I was referred by my primary care physician who stated I needed something done right away. Will not be going back. This to me is inferior care to me.
My son need to have his leg amputee to save his life,I called Dr.LaSar and ask for his help he did came and told my son and me that his leg had alot of infection in his foot and his shin and if he did not let them operate soon my son will die,so dr.lasar saved my sons life!!!!!!! THANK YOU DR LASAR for helping my family thank you Crystal Cox
My family and I love Dr Lesar. He has saved my mothers life 3 different times. Thanks for everything!!! May God continue to Bless you
In October 2011 Dr. Lesar performed outpatient surgery which was suppose to be simple, injury from marathon. Something went wrong. Over next 6 months 2 more surgeries were performed because I was losing blood flow in foot, turning purple, injury was not even in foot. I had no vascular diseases confirmed by rheumatologist in Chattanooga. He kept telling me it was me, my body. He performed angioplasty twice on foot, went in below knee more than once and put stent in ankle. All of the following are no, no’s. Mis-use of stents, stents are meant for the heart, and never suppose to go in below knee. He should have sent me to a doctor with more experience instead of trying to cover his mistake. He should have listened to me the day after the original surgery when I called and told him something was wrong. He wanted to do another surgery and that’s when I knew he was doing wrong so I went to Atlanta. Doctors there were amazed at what had been done to me. Since I have had to have my foot removed. Stent placed in ankle kept blocking and got infected. I hope this review Keeps this from happening to someone else. I remember seeing a lot of elderly patients in his office at University Surgical, some without legs and wonder if the same happened to them, they believed in him like I and didn’t get second opinion or waited and it was too late. Not only did I have stent in ankle, I have 2 in groin. I think these were put in after second surgery because I had a hemorrhage. He never answered me why. New doctors requested medical records and not all were sent so there are still a lot of unanswered questions. Hope this helps someone and you will be hearing a lot more from me.
The entire staff was excellent, very caring and helpful. Dr. Lesar was awesome. I couldn't ask for a better experience for a very scary situation.
Excellent dr. and staff. I know I'm in good hands and trust dr. LeSar completely.
