Since Dr. Crawley and her receptionist retired, this practice has gone to the dogs. New doctor, Dr. Parisa Airia, is never available for a phone appointment during COVID-19, and certainly never in person. I was advised by her receptionist over the phone to go to the emergency department if I didn't feel any better, so that is what I did. When I phoned the receptionist the next day that I had been directed to make an appointment with Dr. Airia and take her the ER doctor's report, her receptionist yelled, "Why did you go to the ER?" Duh! I answered her back that she had checked with Dr. Airia who told her to tell me over the phone to go to the ER if nothing has improved! So I did. I didn't make this decision lightly as I have never had occasion to go an ER for myself in my life. She acted as if I had lots of time on my hands that day and just wanted to go to the ER to give me something to do! Believe me, absolutely NOT what I wanted to do doing COVID! I've been trying with this receptionist, nurse, and Dr. Airia for 3 years, but to no avail; finally we parted ways and I had to chose a new gastroenterologist and family doctor who are both wonderful! Wish I'd done it 3 years sooner!
This doctor office used to be great . Until dr Crawley and vivian retired . I left several messages to book an appointment and still haven't heard back from anyone in the office. It states on the voice mail someone will contact u back in 24 hrs but it has been a week and a half and still no call back . What is going on ? Should I look for a new family doctor.
New owners admin is the worst. Just to reiterate, they booked me an appt 3 weeks in advanced on a day they were CLOSED & didn't inform me.
