Dr. Stamer was always incredibly kind, compassionate, and diagnostic ically 100% as he helped my husband. Two complex knee repairs. Talks to you as an equal; excellent becore and after care follow up.

HE GAVE ME ALL OPTIONS THERAPY OR OPERATION THEN THERAPY NICE MAN WOULD USE HIM AGAIN FOR SURE JUST WISH THAT NYS WOULD ALLOW DR'S PRESCRIBE FOR REAL PAIN LIKE THEY DID FOR YEARS - NOT EVERY ONE IS A PILL DEALER - I FEEL I WOULD BE WORKING SOONER AS I AM IN PAIN EVERY DAY AND THEY SAY NYS WILL TAKE THERE LICENCE IF THEY GIVE MORE PAIN MEDS ** NOT THE DR'S FAULT --- IT IS THE GOVERNOR'S FAULT PEOPLE ARE IN PAIN - TELL GOVINER TO DO HIS JOB ( NOTHING ) AND LET DR DO HIS WORK - EVERY PERSON IS A INDIVIDUAL AS TO HOW MUCH PAIN THEY CAN TAKE

Made a phone call around 1030 this morning. Received a phone call back around 5pm just to have a woman give me an attitude because her phone was extremely muffled and I could not understand what she initially asked me. Mind you she only had to repeat herself once but, I really don't need that kind of attitude. I decided I'll wait for my primary to give me another reccomendation.

He did an awesome job repairing my badly fractured patella. He didn't pull any punches, as to the severity of my fracture, and told me what would happen to me if I didn't have it surgically repaired. He knew I was horribly anxious, and he went out of his way to put me at ease. Minimal scarring, BTW, in a knee that had undergone major surgery over 30 years before. I hope I won't need orthopedic surgery again, but if I did, Dr. Stamer would be my choice.

Dr. Stamer wanted to treat me for something I didn't even have. He wanted to give me steroid injections for bursitis. He had me take an x-ray of my hip. He diagnosed me with bursitis that can only be seen on MRI, not x-ray. When I asked for an MRI, to prove that it was bursitis he seemed annoyed. After the MRI, which didn't show bursitis, he did not offer me any other treatment. I had to ask him if he could prescribe me physical therapy for the pain I was having. I would never recommend this doctor. Seems like he just wants to make the big bucks but doesn't really care for the patient's best interest.
