Dr. Blatt did my cataract surgery in September . What a horrible experience . He scratched the cornea and never owned up to it. The pain was horrendous . My eye finally healed after 3 weeks. He was supposed to do the other eye 2 eweks later but backed out of the surgery st the last minute saying he wSnt comfortable doing it. This was after 3 hours of waiting in the hospital ready for surgery. I waited 3 hours because he is never on time for anything. I now went to Marietta Rye Clinic for my right eye and what s difference. No pain and I can actually see the same day. STAY AWAY FROM DR BLATT. Horrible doctor and surgeon. He needs to retire.

I needed cataract surgery and I had used Dr. Blatt periodically for regular eye exams. This year I needed to have cataracts removed. He is really the greatest! I have a terrible fear of anyone near my eyes but never Dr. Blatt. He has always been understanding, friendly and most importantly professional. Just had my right eye done 8 days ago and cannot tell you how great my eyesight is in the right eye even this early. Almost completely clear, bright and totally awesome even this soon after the surgery. The surgery was fast, painless and I'm totally satisfied and cannot wait until next week for Dr. Blatt to correct my left eye. I highly respect Dr. Blatt and can tell you that if you need any eye work done, even just a regular exam, he is the doctor to trust with your eyes. Thank you Dr. Blatt.

Dr. Blatt is awesome! He did my 80 yr old dad's cataract surgery at Douglasville Hospital and upon the 1st surgery Dr. Blatt had to stop as daddy's heart was beating very fast and then very slow. Dr. Blatt called a cardiologist in to look him and then she said it was just the pacemaker doing it's job. Dr. Blatt had on his clothes for leaving as it was already 5:10 and the surgery center closed at 6. They all conferred and agreed since everybody was already there and they could get an OR, they might as well do the surgery. We were shocked and thrilled that he cared enough as we were so disappointed when he had already told us he could not do the surgery again til everything checked out with his heart. What an amazing and caring doctor to take time out of his busy schedule to do it twice in a day. Dr. Blatt is a unique doctor who really does care about his patients. We all love you Dr. Blatt!
