Dr Dickens is a very smart doctor. He steered me through several horrible years with Ulcerative Colitis. I thank him for having the courage (if that's what it takes) to refer me outside of the "medical corporation" (was Miles Health 15 years ago) when he felt MY health and well-being would be better served "out of network". He coordinated results and information coming in from my gastroenterologist in Portland, surgeon at Lahey in MA, hematologist in Scarborough, etc.  Almost everything about the USA's "healthcare system" (sad!, LOL) is broken. I have to credit John Dickens, MD with sticking it out and caring for his patients in rural Maine as best he is allowed. The only reason he does not get a 5th star is the lacking and crumbling system in which he must practice.
