I was referred to Dr. Laflamme by my general dentist.  Once I was in the chair I was diagnosed and a course of treatment was recommended.  Prior to starting my procedure one of the office staff brought me a written treatment plan and demanded a credit card to hold until I was finished.  I found this to be an odd request but I provided it as they would not proceed without it.

During the procedure the doctor was never able to get me completely numb after trying several times with a number of injections.  I was quite painful and uncomfortable.  I finally toughed it out so she could just finish.  The overall procedure seemed very rough and rushed and there really seemed to be no attention to the patient.  It really felt like they just wanted to get it done and move onto the next patient.  I realize they get paid by the procedure, but a little more attention, especially with someone that has some anxiety about dental procedures would have been nice.  I did make her aware of my anxiety prior.

A couple of weeks after the procedure I found that I had overpaid based on my insurance EOB.  I called to bring it to their attention, was told I would receive a call back and never received one.

I would not feel comfortable recommending this doctor.

I had 2 emergency root canals in this office and I was welcomed with nothing but smiles. The doctors and staff answered any questions I had and even called the following day to see how I was feeling.  It had been years since I have received this kind of treatment from a dental office.
