Story

We are a full-service general and cosmetic dental practice led by Dr. Siavash Zargarpour (Dr. Zar). Our commitment is to provide you with the highest quality dentistry and individual attention at an affordable price.

Our practice is prevention-oriented, so you can expect your initial examination in our office to include all necessary x-rays, photographs, an evaluation for gum disease and an oral cancer screening. We have learned prevention and early detection save our patients’ valuable time, money and improve overall dental health.

Our cutting-edge facility contains nine treatment rooms in addition to an in-house lab with the most advanced equipment, instruments, technology and materials to ensure a productive and pleasant visit every time. Our customized treatment plans are developed to fit each patients’ individual needs and budget.

My visit was an emergency and I was seen on a Saturday after cracking a molar the day before. When I made the call Saturday afternoon I was greeted by a very friendly voice. I was given estimates over the phone which was great with no surprises. All my questions about costs as well as insurance coverage was taken care of. I was told to come in immediately which I was not expecting. When I arrived I was not given a clipboard with 15 pages to fill out but only the new patient registration form which was only a single sheet of paper front and back and a single privacy practice acknowledgement. Once I completed the forms and turned them in I was processed as a new patient within 10 minutes. The dental technician was very friendly and personable. I had several X-rays taken of only the tooth and area of discomfort which was exactly what I wanted, not a full set of x-rays detailing all the other issues I had going on. Dr. Zar was just great as I new the damage to this tooth was not viable and he reassured me as well it was not. So we got straight to business with the extraction. After the extraction was done he had some genuine concerns about the condition of my teeth which I was very interested in hearing. Dr. Zar provided me with a wealth of information and options that could be taken to address my concerns as well as his. I look forward to my followup visit to get my stitches removed and discuss options I was never aware of that I could have done. All in all my overall experience was great and I would highly recommend Dr. Zar to anyone.

Lovely staff and Dr. Zargapour is amazing! I've always been terrified of the dentist but this was a great experience. He is extremely thorough and caring. I would recommend him to everyone!!

I fist tried Tarzana Dental Care for bleaching and I was very happy with the result. My teeth got much lighter than my last attempt with my previous dentist and I had very minimal sensitivity. Since then, I switched to them and I'm delighted with my decision. I have an all porcelain crown from Dr. Zar and a few crowns from others. The difference is drastic. His is virtually seamless on the x-ray. He has detected issues that my previous dentist had not and he showed me on the monitor clearly after he removed my old crown. It's good to know that they have the latest technology at their office. I highly recommend Tarzana Dental Care.

What a wonderful dentist and office to visit. I recently moved to Tarzana and was looking for a new dentist that was local. I found Tarzana Dental Care and Dr. Zar via their wonderful Yelp reviews and scheduled a free consultation. I ended up needing a lot of work done since I neglected things for a few years but Dr. Zar got me a great financing plan, a low price on everything, and scheduled everything out for me with great timelines. I had wisdom teeth pulled, a few cavities, a root canal, and a cleaning. WOW, everything was rather painless and the care I got was top notch. Thanks Tarzana Dental Care!
