Dr. Gafanovich is one of just a few board-certified primary care physicians affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan that accept major insurance plans.

At our office, we provide on-site phlebotomy, chest X-rays, ECGs, annual physical exam / annual check up, & other services. In addition, we provide efficient pre-operative clearance for our patients. Dr. Gafanovich addresses issues ranging from comprehensive physical exams to common medical problems such as hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, weight loss, smoking cessation, stress management, gout, arthritis, & asthma/COPD. We also offer strategies for primary disease prevention such as screening for colorectal, breast, & prostate cancer.

Couldn't be happier that I found Dr. Marina Gafanovich 6 years ago. I moved down to NYC from Philly, and I needed a new primary care physician cause I had a chronic condition that required constant attention from a pro. The trigger was really the volume of positive reviews floating around the web, some coming from the Indian community. I can tell you, Dr. Marina is amiable, reasonable, and easy to deal with. If she feels like there is a problem, she comes with a solution stemming from her heart rather than some medical textbooks. Not that she is not experienced - far from that, it's hard to squeeze in an appointment, and it tells the story. But it's the personal care and attention that move the checkers around the board. The staff runs the office with great skills and precision - thumb up! Never a delay in communication, financials, lab results, or scheduling. The best thing I can say is that Dr. Gafanovich checks up on me herself, even on weekends or holidays. I am now comforted to say that my health is in very good hands. Thanks, Dr. G!

Caring. Wait time is minimal. And it looks like she's the only one who will except insurance on upper east side. I felt that anyone else is offering cash only service.

One of the coolest doctor I have ever met in my life, Great place she will guarantee fix you up and The staff are friendly and Marina is professional, I strongly recommend to visit.

Dr. Gafanovich is a unique find in Manhattan, where health care is not always the best of the best (this can sound stupid, but this is the way I personally feel). She listens attentively, is not quick to prescribe unnecessary pills, and provides holistic advice to treat the underlying issue and not just what lies on the surface. Her office staff is very friendly, I never have to wait for appointments (saves my business hours). The appointments are straightforward, as Dr. Gafanovich actually remembers me and my records each and every time. Nothing is more disappointing to me than a MD who is reading your e-records as they step in and you have to start over. Dr. Gafanovich stands out, she remembers previous talks and is very thorough and caring.
