For the past 4 months, I have been treated by Dr. Mildred Chernofsky. From initial consultation through abdominal surgery and follow up, I have found her to be one of the most compassionate, energetic and positive doctors that I have ever known. She is thorough and takes as much time as is necessary to explain procedures, possible outcomes and to answer questions. I never once felt rushed or that I was on an assembly line of anonymous patients to be dealt with as quickly as possible. Dr. Chernofsky engaged directly with me, always making eye contact when speaking to me or listening. This is rare nowadays. I cannot recommend Dr. Chernofsky highly enough. Her medical skill, personal warmth and sense of humor made a difficult time in my life far easier and less frightening. Her obvious enthusiasm for medicine and concern for her patients shows clearly that this is a doctor who truly loves what she does. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - you are a gem!
I have been treated by Dr. Chernofsky for last 5 years. She is thorough, compassionate, and ensures you have full information regarding your health situation. I highly recommend her. In my opinion she is one of the best in her field.
