Admitted thru the ER and had to have an Endoscopy with biopsies Nov 18, 2017, Dr. Duterte did the procedure. I was told to followup in 2 week's to get the results to the biopsies and to further discuss his diagnosis, Barretts Esophagus a precancerous condition. I called his office and the first available appt was months away but I took it and asked Kelly in his office if I could get the biopsy results cause I am stressed and waiting months to get test results to see if I have cancer, thru the holiday season, is very stressful. Kelly told me "no, the only way to get the biopsy results is to come to your appointment". My appt is set for March 16, 2018, I still do not know if I have cancer. I got a call from Kelly and returned it, she said there is a balance on the account can I pay it , I told her I plan on making payments as my Insurance wasn't effective until Jan 1. I could not pay the high amount she was requesting to be paid at my FU appt, I told her I could pay some but not all and her response was "well we will have to cancel your appointment then" I told her I STILL don't know the results of my biopsies and she said she would mail them. I am not a doctor and do not know how to "read" a pathology report, this office had a ridiculous waiting time for a FU appt and then refused to see me if I can't pay the exact amount they want. This should be illegal, I will never have a kind word for this doctor or his RUDE ARROGANT staff members, no compassion, outrageous wait time for appt, FOUR MONTHS and still don't have info on biopsies, steer clear of this office!

An excellent G. I. Dr. Has taken really good care of me and still taking care of me.

He took care of me in 2005 and 2006 he is a awesome GI doctor id recomme d him to anyone.
