One of the WORST doctors/rheumatologists ive ever come across. I wouldn't even call her a doctor. She doesn't even practice this field from what I know she left illinios to pursue another career in California. I wonder why. I saw her in 2013 and she is responsible for why my RA got worse. Horrible doctor. She BARELY gave me a choice on what medication to take. She was only very adamant on putting me on Orencia infusion at the time. When I told her I'm not comfortable with this choice she shrugged her shoulders and didn't offer me an alternative. When I mentioned methotrexate after hearing it was on the market for 40 plus years and used very effectively to treat RA. (Many doctors told me to take this drug) but her reason for not wanting to put me on it? Because she had a 17 year old girl patient get pregnant on it! Mind you I was around 25 at the time and not sexually actively and even if I was I don't have the immaturaity or mind of a 17 year old. I eventually left her now and after one more doctor I've found the BEST doctor. Dr. Dachman pain therapy center is absolutely amazing if only I had found him sooner. Be warned many rheumatologist at northshore let alone doctors there in general are t good. They are young, inexperienced and too scared to take action for a patient. And all about the money. Doctors get 2K just to sign a patient up for an infusion. I wasn't going to alllow her to use me as a guniea pig that way. I know this because my doctors have friends in research who study these drugs while in the infusion phase.

Great doctor, listens, is caring. Wonderful experience.
