The doctor did not review a  radiology film we brought -  when there might have been a discrepancy from the written  radiology report and radiology film- which is why we were referred to him as a specialist, in the first place, by our primary Dr's office.  Dr. McGovern was not friendly, not empathetic, and rushed us through-felt like he couldn't get rid of us fast enough.  He seemed competent enough....
He gave some advice- however, I had to ask if my husband should follow up with him, if there was further problems,  he answered something like, "if you want"- as if he could care less-
No : " have a nice day" or any departing salutation at all-just walked out of the room.  The resident he had with him had a long face and mumbled some goodbye--  I think...I am not even sure..No bedside manner.
Disappointed, to say the least, as Dr. McGovern seemed friendly when I had spoken to him on phone before our visit....Oh well, I think we will look elsewhere if we need further care for my husband.
