The best. He was my second back surgeon who had to repair a few issues that weren't done correctly from another back surgeon who performed 2 back surgeries on me and made a mess out of back. I couldn't get anywhere with that Dr. to fix the ongoing problems from those surgeries, so I went to Dr. Tally for a second opinion. He was thorough and went over every aspect of my back history including before and after both back surgeries. He determined that another back surgery would be needed to readdress what was wrong. He didn't just jump right at an opportunity to provide surgery. He was thorough in why he felt it was necessary and asked me if i agreed. Integrity. The surgery made a world of difference for me. I would highly recommend him.

My husband and I would highly recommend Dr. Tally. I had been in several car accidents over the years and eventually had to have an inversion corrected in my neck, 3 bone spurs removed, a plate and 8 screws added to my neck. But I had been in chronic pain for the past 6 years. The surgery was a success. My chronic pain is gone. I'm no longer using a walker or a cane to get around. Dr. Tally also repaired my Carpal Tunnel with a "Zplasty." No more pain! Dr. Tally also repaired the ruptured disc in my husbands back. And he's 100% again.

I'm a 28 y/o male thats had multiple traumas to the spine and had caused bone spurs in my C3/4 area in the neck. After reviewing my MRI Doctor Tally recommended I get a couple other scans (nuclear spect & CT) done to get a good picture of what exactly was causing my discomfort. After reviewing those scans and examination of my symptoms, Dr.Tally said a discectomy and fusion of C3/4 with allograft would be the best solution. I had the surgery next door to his office at the Riverwalk Ambulatory Surgery Center and when I woke up from this procedure I knew immediately that the pressure I had felt for so long in my neck had been taken away. I would highly recommend Dr. Tally and his staff if you have spinal issues because they took very good care of me and feel like Dr. Tally's bedside manor is awesome, especially compared to many other doctors I've seen in the past who don't give you the individual care you want and need in these situations. Thanks Dr. Tally, you've changed my life!

I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Tally as my Neuro Surgeon! I originally had met with Dr. Tally as a second opinion. Originally I went to a Chiropractor (won't say the name) and they told me after reading my MRI that I had 3 herniated discs. They then tried to sell me their program. I met with Dr. Tally, he was extremely personable and will be as technical or as layman as you need. He was straight forward and advised me that my L-5 was fully ruptured. I was having pain walking or sitting up. He said he's in no hurry to do surgery and to try to give it a few weeks to see if the pain would subside and I could avoid surgery. Think about that...A Surgeon who doesn't just try to force surgery on you..what a concept! Anyhow, it got worse and I could no longer walk or sit up-right. I consulted with Dr. Tally again due to the extreme pain and he said we need to get you in for surgery as quickly as possible. He offered to drop everything and do it then, however it was Wednesday before Thanksgiving and he was honest and said that his A-Team Staff is not there. I voted to wait until the next week. His staff moved around other scheduled surgeries at the River Walk Facility and got me in at 7am Monday morning! Amazing!!! I couldn't walk in, so my wife wheeled me in a wheelchair. They got me in the back right away as it hurt to sit up. I had the discectomy and was home by 10am! I walked out on my own accord. RELIEF!!! It's been two weeks to the day since my surgery and I feel awesome! I am already up to walking 3 miles/day and I have Dr. Tally to thank for it!
