Once considered the largest citrus producer in the world, Dr. Phillip Phillips left a legacy that has spanned several generations culminating in the establishment of Dr. Phillips Charities, comprised of The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation and Dr. Phillips, Inc. These two distinct funding organizations provide support to local charities that address critical community needs, demonstrate the potential for ongoing community support and have a significant, lasting impact on the community.
The primary focus of Dr. Phillips Charities is to respond to community needs in Central Florida, primarily Orange and Osceola counties. Dr. Phillips Charities supports nonprofit organizations in the following established areas of interest: Children and Youth Services, Cultural Programs, Educational Programs, Health & Rehabilitative Programs, and Social Services.
Dr. Phillips Charities has made grants, pledges and program related investments in excess of $180 million as of June 2017.
