My wife and I love Dr. Adams. While there may be a wait to see him sometimes, it is often because he spends more time with patients (and families) than any other doctor I have ever visited. Whenever we have questions, he makes sure we understand the answer(s) and has never made us feel dumb or uninformed like some physicians do. I can't say anything negative about Dr. Adams and UV Pediatrics.

We have been seeing Dr. Adams for years!! He is a wonderful Dr. and the kids love going to see him! He is knowledgeable, kind, and comforting to my kids if there sick or just in for a check up!! He makes sure we are in the same page of what the next step is to help get my kids when they're sick!! Thank you so much for you patience, fun nature, and many hours of services!!

I was taking my son to Utah Valley pediatrics for 2 yrs, Dr Adams had performed his circumcision, it was an "incomplete circumcision". I brought up my concern for it at every appointment and 3 different doctors at this Utah Valley pediatrics just kept saying it would "fix itself". I took him in for a second opinion to a Dr at Grandview family medicine and he immediately told me it would never fix itself and needed to be redone. My son went through so much pain all because Dr Adams didn't want to own up to his mistake and fix it. I thought doctors had to swear to do no harm.

Let's be upfront. Dr. Adams knows his stuff. Fair enough. He does much good, for sure. However, after years (talking a decade here) of trying to work with his over-scheduled, understaffed office we are moving on to a different Pediatrician as soon as we can find one. With more than 5 kids visiting during those ten years, to then finally, yet again have the experience to show up with a sick child, with a fever, which fever Dr. Adams (it is very rare to get in with him, we usually are in with some nurse practitioner who seems to be stressed and seems to have a pro-vaccine agenda and makes parents feel guilty if they missed their well check apt for any child) also finds, we pay out of pocket (we do not have insurance) for some tests they charged us for, and for almost a week we hear nothing, only to call back in and be told we have to come back in because the tests we paid for were not completed, and that Dr. Adams is again off for a week or so. It isn't a simple mistake, that is human nature, but the expense of going in again and again because of what seems to be an understaffed office, and rarely seen, over scheduled Dr. - where we still have a sick child who simply needed antibiotics to help her discomfort - and we are missed entirely to only be waiting. Wait time is always at least an hour, showing up early is not helpful. Dr. Adams is a good man, great doctor, but this office has put number of clients over personal care, and we are not the type of family to ever want to leave a negative review with what could be such a good doctor, but after ten years of dealing with this - an invite to consider finding a less busy, properly staffed, and wherewhithall enough to not miss the simple tests and medicine prescriptions that could easily help the discomfort of a child. Pros: He knows his stuff and they offer after hours that is very helpful on weekends. Ability to see the nurse practitioners (this is most likely what you'll have 75% of the time) when Dr. Adams is not available. He is a very pleasant dr. and good with kids. Cons: Dr. Adams and staff misses something somehow too often Dr. Adams is gone a lot so a child has to wait and suffer longer or come in again to pay again for nurse practitioner to then get antibiotics or whatsoever is needed (in case that they missed something) Over scheduled entirely too often Long wait time, long.... Have a child at hospital, don't expect to get out of the hospital any faster than Dr. Adams can get to the hospital - or ask for a nurse practitioner instead
