I've known Dr Kim for nearly 8 years now and proud to say he is a true physician in every sense. He's a doctor that cares about his patients and wants to get them out of pain and on the road to good long term health. It shows immediately in his bed side manner. He uses the latest researched techniques and strives each day to be the best physician he can be. He's the caliber physician that can spend more time consulting and delivering speeches around the world but instead chooses to care for patients in Cedar Rapids.

Dr Kim listens, is kind, respectful and caring. I got wonderful pain relief almost immediately after 3 years of severe chronic shoulder pain and immobility. I will recommend him to friends and family dealing with chronic joint pain. I had been told the next step in treatment would be a total joint replacement which I did not want at this point and age in my life. Cedar Rapids is lucky to have Dr. Kim! And, Mike worked with me to strengthen and rehab my shoulder which helped so much.

STAFF WAS COURTEOUS AND PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. TREATMENT. TOOK LONGER THAN I HAD HOPED BUT ONCE ALL PROBLEMS WERE DIAGNOSED, TREATMENT WAS EFFECTIVE AND RELIEF STARTED TO COME MORE QUICKLY. PHYSICAL THERAPY WAS SOMEWHAT SIMILAR TO WHAT I HAD BEEN DOING, BUT WAS DEFINITELY MORE EFFECTIVE. WISH I HAD BEEN AWARE OF THESE OPTIONS EARLIER. THANK YOU.

The whole staff has been very accommodating to my needs. If I ever had a question and did not understand it, they would explain it to me or Sunny would explain it to me in his own cheery way. They have also been a very patient and caring staff. The procedure goes so fast because Sunny talks to you the whole way through and Justin makes you feel so comfortable. Justin is totally awesome. When I was first frustrated with my brace and somehow got the straps all tangled, he showed me an easier way to put the brace on so I could wear it under my clothes. Justin is also great when it comes to PT. If I said something else was hurting, he would give me more exercises to help strengthen the affected area. My knee is getting stronger everyday and I am glad I was referred here to Dr. Sunny Kim and the staff and made the choice to go with Stem Cell. I know I will continue to improve and this has kickstarted my progress. Thanks to all of you.

I received treatment from Dr. Kim for SI Joint pain. He is friendly and so was his staff. He is an intelligent Doctor and in theory I thought his treatments would work. I followed all of his guidelines for pain control including receiving an injection and going through physical therapy in his office. When he discharged me from treatment he told me I was doing better and it was successful. I did not feel any better but spent hundreds of dollars on treatment. I realize his treatments may work for some people but I think he was untruthful about his success rate due to how quickly he dismissed me when treatment was not successful.
