The Irish Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating Irish culture as a vibrant part of the community.
The Irish Center provides year-round activities celebrating Irish culture and heritage, including music programs and concerts, literary presentations, genealogy workshops, theatre productions and Irish language classes. The Center is home to the Forrest Library, which includes 4000+ books covering all aspects of Irish culture, history, language and arts. The Center also has a small exhibit showing the history of the Irish in Kansas City, travel resources, and a wee gift shop.
The mission of The Irish Center is to celebrate, support, preserve, and promote Irish heritage and culture.
Family Coats of Arms available to order. We also have our own "Danny Boy Blend" coffee from The Roasterie, a small selection of Irish books and music cd's. We are proud to have copies of Pat O'Neill's updated book "From the Bottom Up" available for purchase at the Center.
