I live in the neighborhood and I finally found my favorite coffee shop. I have been a frequent customer since they opened 2 months ago, and I am never disappointed. Whether I am in a rush, or want to sit and relax, Drip Drop always caters to me perfectly. Best coffee, music, and pastries! Rodrigo, the owner, definitely cares for his craft and he did an amazing job with this cozy spot in Soho!
As a New Yorker and avid coffee drinker, I can say that this is one of the best coffees in NYC. Also, they are super friendly and there’s a great outdoor space to hang and watch people walk by. Highly recommend putting some rose or lavender in your latter, but it doesn’t need it! Support small business owners
Came for the marshmallow cappuccino, came back for it over and over. Cute, local place on my street. Reasonably priced too under $6 for the cap which isn’t easy to find in NYC. They have pastries and some savory quiches and croissants. They have indoor/outdoor seating!
Quick trip to NYC and needed to find a good coffee spot close to my hotel. Saw some of the photos and looked very cozy, so decided to give it a try. Very excellent! I normally have to add a decent amount of sugar to my coffee, but none needed with such rich flavor! A new staple for future visits!Recommended dishesDrip Coffee, Mocha Latte
stopped by the small coffee shop a few weeks ago on a warm May weekday—close-ish to Washington Square Park. the coffee shop serves a variety of coffee drinks as well as small baked eats. there is some seating in the back along and there is WiFi available. the interior is modern, clean, and warm. got an iced dripped coffee. it tasted fine and hit the spot against the backdrop of a sweaty day. iced drip, $3-$3.75, depending on the size. though i wished i grabbed a chocolate chip cookie…next time. staff is friendly.
I went there for a quick bite and a turmeric latte. It’s a fairly new place in Soho. The coffee was really good with frothed milk and smooth. The guy working was super nice and he gave me a free cheese danish since he brought me it by mistake. There are art pieces for sale on the wall. Great place to go for coffee.
The owner Rodrigo is amazing! He’s friendly and care about his customers. You’ll feel welcomed. It’s a cozy Soho local cafe that locals love.
Instant regret not to have cancelled my cappuccino after I saw how my wife's cappuccino came out. I would not even ask for a refund, but I knew right away I would not drink it. Life is too short to drink overpriced milk burnt coffee which can barely compete with Starbucks which is mediocre at best. We both drunk a couple of sips and resigned ourselves to throw them away... What a waste. Staff was nice though, just shouldn't be making coffee
Advertised outside is their matcha latte, and loving it as much as I do, I had to give it a try. Sad that I couldnt take lots of pictures as I was rushing, but I hope to come back to properly enjoy this little spot on Thompson Street. Apparently, this is a new spot in the neighborhood, and from the looks of it, is well-received. Kudos!!! Knocked off a star just because I like my matcha latte with a stronger kick to it. When i go back, Ill be sure to ask how much is in it, but it seems like a cozy spot with some seating outside and inside. It was founded by someone whose “love for art, nature, music, delicious coffee and pastries” came together in this cozy corner of Soho, so dont be surprised to see an art gallery “in the drip drop lounge” when you drop by. There is a step to get inside, but rest assured, the peeps inside are so nice that those who are unable to get inside as easily will be served nonetheless. Highly recommend trying them out!
I adore Drip Drop. Firstly, the coffee is great and prices are good. The two staff members who work so hard every day are always super friendly and attentive. And real thought has been put into the decor. The outside area is filled with plants, lights and most recently heaters. Thanks for hosting an awesome cafe.
