I got my first blowout ever from Drybar on New Year’s Eve 2018. The space is super aesthetically pleasing and cute! I checked in a number of minutes before my appointment, was able to enjoy a glass of (decent) sparkling wine...and then waited for 45 minutes. From what I’ve also heard from friends, this is normal. I understand that they were running behind because of such an influx of people for NYE, but I hope this doesn’t happen all the time - that would be unacceptable.
I don’t remember my stylist’s name, but she was fabulous. I requested the Old Fashioned, which is old-school waves. She actually pinned and set my hair, which I know was laborious for her. Lots of compliments as I walked out and throughout the night - and it stayed through the next day.

My daughter who is 12 has a beautifully full head of hair (3 heads of hair in 1-- seriously) with medium tight curls. Made an appt for 5:15, got there early on a Thursday and they were able to see her at 4:30. It's 6 pm now and stylist is about to be done. To be clear, she detangled her twists, washed, blew out AND pressed her hair, which is 3 inches past the shoulder...in a little over 90 mins...for $45 bucks. (I'm being specific here for the sake of being helpful.)

I'm definitely leaving a big tip -- black stylists who can do black hair. Yes! Maybe the trick is getting here before rushour.

Overall, great experience.

I believe since many others have reviewed the store, they have added a great deal of staff and are better able to handle the load of clients.  It is a busy hair salon and has sassy fun fashion forward folks as I would expect, but the wait time was not bad and certainly better than most salons can run.  They get you in and out.  Not a great deal of creativity but this is a formula that works for speed and low cost which is what most folks are looking for.  I heard they're products were recommended by other and concur with that.

More than a 15 minute wait! No one calls or texts to tell you.  Really great blow out though so I appreciate that. But be prepared for pounding music.

minute wait. My stylist had the personality of a brick wall and refused to listen to where I wanted my part... but hey, at least there was free champagne and my curls look okay.
