This store is very convenient for Costco shoppers and no you do not need a membership to shop this liquor store as it's separate. The beer selection is well diversified, not the largest but the prices are good. I mostly purchase spirits and have been to a decent amount of other stores around town and DSH has some of the best prices. I have noticed that the inventory will change over time to switch things up. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. The layout is spacious and generally not crowded.

They took my ID and scanned it into a device with out my consent. I only expected that she would look at it and hand it back quickly. The lady with the big hair had no explanation as to why she did this and had no way to verify that this wasn't her personal device. I am considering calling the police to see if they have a record of the transaction and if my drivers license number, name and address are now stored in a system somewhere.  When I told her it made me uncomfortable and that I may not return she said that she wouldn't miss me, XD! I will be going to Coaltrain or another liquor store from now on that doesn't scan my id

Things are greatly improved. Now they check ID like a normal liquor store AND the customer service has greatly improved. No more lady with the big hair

I've always found the help to be friendly, all of them. I like their selection and prices. They no longer scan driver licenses, they just ask your birthdate.

The lady with the big hair at the cash register was so rude I've never met a clerk that rude she should definitely not be working with the public.

Very good prices and friendly staff. The downside to this store is that they don't have anything already cold. They also don't have much beer. This store is mainly a discount store for the main brands of liquor.
