Very bad experience. They searched my house for drugs unannounced and without a warrant, and the last thing I remember them doing was leaving with all my drugs as fast as possible. They weren't even in uniform or driving an on duty police car, very unprofessional.

Generally these guys do an OK job. Good luck driving around while young, though. Apart from living in Dublin as a high schooler and getting pulled over and blatantly lied to about curfew, these guys are nice, but today was the last straw. 

I'm a student at Ohio State and drove up to Dublin this evening to *have dinner with my mother*. (How sinister, right?) I got pulled over for having one of my headlights out - fair, it went out a couple days ago. But then "Officer Daniels" proceeds to inform me (to my surprise) that I was driving without my seatbelt, and that I put it on as he walked up to the car. Are you hallucinating, dude? 

Trying to lie to get a head start on your February tickets or something? Apparently reaching into your jacket to grab your wallet for your license and registration means "putting on your seatbelt as I walked to your car" in Dublin. 

DPD - how about hiring young officers with a clue? Mistaking a huge road infraction for grabbing a wallet  isn't even close to just, or reality for that matter.

Somebody stopped me in the middle of the night and asked me to get out of the car. when i asked what the problem was, he showed me a badge so i of course exited my car. He then goes into my car and pulls out my 2kg brick of medical cocaine. he runs off into the forest with it. now the cartel's going to be on my ass... thanks.
