If your from shoreline CT, you know Duchess. Its "good food served fast". There are days I need that Chili Burger and curly fries! Its kind of in-between a Greek diner and a McD. Please, go to this location if you have never been and want to try it. The rest of them, although the food is the same, the atmosphere and the staff are VERY different. This one is amazing and its the jewel for the small chain. The other sites, can be very rude and quality can be lacking in the food at times.

This is a fast food with NATURAL ingredients!! I loveeee it. Yum. The lettuce is crunchy the bread has a nice crisp to it. Those other fast food chains have nothing on Duchess. You have to really appreciate this place

If you wanna experience In N' Out burger on the east coast, then head to Duchess. Not only do their burgers taste delicious, but the rest of the menu is...unique.

I grew up in CT, so the taste of a #1 Big D Burger is quite familiar to me. I've traveled to CA and made it to In N' Out and I will say, almost identical. Legit the first thing I said after my first bite of In N' Out was, "this tastes like Duchess". Ask my wife.

As for the rest of the menu, you have burger and dogs to breakfast served 24/7 to veal parm with spaghetti. No, that is not an exaggeration. They literally have a veal parm dinner (as well as several others) on the menu. Find me another fast food joint like this... I dare you...

Our meal was good, and it was ready fairly quick but they're pricey. Instead of having meals everything was priced out separately.

Nothing really wrong with the food, it was just fine, but not as delicious as it should have been for the high prices. Drive thru was extremely slow and filled with GIANT crater pot holes. Service was friendly but I won't go back.
