I was just in your establishment meeting my husband and friend at the end of my shift. My friend likes to drink a lot and frequents the DB at leat 4 times a week spending well over 80 bucks a pop. I happen to work at Peco and had a bad day today, all I wanted to do was unwind eat some onion rings and have a Dr. Pepper. We stepped out onto the patio for a smoke and chat about our plans this weekend and my husband got chilly so we turned on the heater. Another patron came out to have a smoke and decided that it wasn't cold enough to run said heater, so she went back inside told the female running the bar that it wasn't cold enough to run the patio heater so the bartender came out and told us she's turning it off because it wasn't cold. When I said something about it she said we didn't spend enough money because I was only drinkin soda and my husband had water. OK let me say 1 it shouldn't matter what I ordered because I am a paying customer. And 2 if I was dressed for going out instead of for work I'm sure I would have been treated better. I chose to have a Dr. Pepper because I had to DRIVE home and I am a responsible adult. My husband chose to have water because he just had his cancer treatment and couldn't stomach anything else. Our friend had 80 dollars worth of alcohol, 20 dollars in the jukebox, and also bought my Dr. Pepper and onion rings. I do believe enough money was spent to pay for the heat, we were planing on having dinner. So ma'am you need to have a talk to your employees because you've lost 3 customers not to mention our friends, family, as well as their friends and family because word of mouth in a small town is horrible.
