Cheap, gritty, and straight forward.  Aren't the absolute best hot dogs but can't find anything to complain about.  I recommend the Italian Beef / Sausage Combo.  Although the bread is a little too wet when they dip it and breaks apart easily, the sausage with the Italian beef sauce is indescribable.

Though I’d give it a try after ownership change. Mistake. First, try cooking the food. Fries and. Pizza puff not done, had to put in air fryer at home.  Hot dog barely warm, on a plain bun. Nothing special here.   Better at burger baron around the corner

Hell yes. Super friendly staff. Hole in the wall place with a personality and a history. Food is tasty, fast, and cheap. If you want a Polish and fries, a dog, a beef n sausage combo, etc, pop in here.

My husband would go as a kid and brought me here. women who work here are amazing and always so easy to talk to food is great and a a good price we come from berwyn for this. Thank you ladies for the anniversary wishes you make a difference and are appreciated for the hard work you do we missed you during the pandemic but im glad you guys are doing good. will continue the tradition my daughter will be going here as long as it stays open.

The place is a gem. A nice hole in the wall to come to. The employees are so nice. The food is really good and the service was off the charts. I strongly recommend this place. Also it's a great alternative from Maxwell street.  Better come get it before they close the doors for good.

I've been a customer since 1978, when I was 6 years old, my father and I sat inside and enjoyed a decent Chicago style hotdog. I remember throughout my early teens playing the arcade games.. this place is a gem of Chicago!Food: 5/5

I love Duk's Red HOTS. I got a cheeseburger and cheese fries, and the moment I take a bite at the burger it was delicious and it was like out of this world and the cheese fries are also good. I hope they open past 6 pm. I’ll bring my friends here next time so they can experience how great the food here was.Food: 5/5

The lady who took care of me was very friendly and service was fast. The food was good and I'm glad to see old-school places like this still exist.

Seems like a blast from the past! They are very nice and service was quick. We ordered 2 Chicago style hotdogs with fries for $4.28 each and a pizza puff. Total for 2 of us was $14.75! Super cheap eats!Food: 5/5
