On Saturday August 17, 2024, we stopped here to purchase the jumbo shrimp and my friend ordered $90 worth of seafood only to discover that they left off an order of her regular shrimp and when she called no one answered. I saved three shrimp for the next day and they tasted even better for breakfast. It would be nice if they gave you more French fries because you only get a few fries for $2 so it’s not enough to eat with your jumbo shrimp. They posted a sign that they will be closed until August 27th so I will definitely plan to go back when they reopen.
I remember going their as child. This restaurant has quality shrimp , with a uniquely unionized aroma that hits the air that let you know they are open for business. #familytradition #Corporate swagger
Had a quick lunch at this tiny and cozy spot, the fried shrimp was soft hot and crispy, made fresh to order, do try it with the special goose island sauce. Vegetarian options: Wouldn't recommend veg here Dietary restrictions: If you are allergic to seafood avoid the place Parking: No parking spots, have to find street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible
This place has been around for over 30 years... You don't keep ur doors open that long if the food is not cooking to perfection & delicious. I wish they would bring back the crab sticks. I would get about 6 of those while I wait on my order to be done and play Ms Pac-Man. Trust me this place is the Place to eat.....Food: 5/5
One of my favorites. There prices have remained relatively consistent. You're not paying $17 for a pound of shrimp like a lot of these other places. Always fast and professional. Parking: It's a busy street and parking van be a little tough to find. Because they get their food out quick, hang around you'll get a park. Wheelchair accessibility: The doorway is kind of cumbersome to probably get in there.
Nice little spot for TAKE OUT, I was under the impression there might be tables to sit down but that’s not the case. Anyway, the food was great! And very affordable too. Those fried clams are the best.
The last time I came here was June 2024 prior to that was almost 10 years ago and 10 years later they did not disappoint! The oysters and shrimp were not overly breaded and taste very fresh....I will be back soon...Definitely a gem in Chi-town!Food: 4/5
Amazingly, delicious. I once killed a man because he grabbed one of my frog legs. We won't get into that here though. I try to order a head to avoid the line and there usually is one. Everything goes always fresh and pretty much made two order when you are there. Never greasy. I wish they were closer.Food: 5/5
Atmosphere doesn't matter because you're gonna grab and go. There's nowhere to sit, but so what. The only thing you'll care about is getting back home to eat. Don't answer the phone. Don't talk to anyone. Just eat. Then look forward to the next time you go back. Rince and repeat.Food: 5/5
No frills fresh fried seafood! Prices were more than fair, service was fast and friendly, and food was absolutely delicious. For those that are new, this place is order to-go only… no tables, but there is an authentic vintage Pac-Man arcade game inside while you wait 2 quarters per play. Pull up street parking right next to the restaurant out front, for convenience. They accept cc’s, but do pass on a small nominal % fee for using a card. Next time we will bring cash as we love supporting small businesses such as this place. We will be absolutely be back!
