Food is fantastic. Atmosphere is chill, music not blaring. Small and comfy. Menu is varied enough we have st least 3 more things we want to try. Burgers are HELLA on point.

Third time here, third time thinking this is among the best burgers in sacramento. Three burgers, all exceptional, three types of fries, all fantastic. Wonderful tap list every time and also great service.

Tasty food and good mix of breweries and beer styles. They even have a decent selection of wines for the nonbeer drinkers.

Duke's plate's and pints isn't necessarily a bad place. I've been coming to it for years since it changed from Beach Hut deli because it's very convenient for me. One of the few restaurants in the immediate area that'll serve a burger and fries, the only problem being it's not the biggest burger, and you get about 8 fries. It's a tough thing to do when the meal costs upwards of $15. Today was the last straw, though. They have a "specials" board outside and you think to yourself, "Wow, they have a good deal on fish n chips today?!" No. You would be wrong. The fish n chips came out and it was 2 of the smallest Nemo looking fishes I'd ever seen on top of probably a dozen fries. "Ok" I thought to myself, "this is a lunch special so it's probably a small portion for a good price." Boy how wrong I was. $14 is what it cost me. I've been to place like Santa Barbara where prices are inflated, and have gotten bigger, fresher fish for less money. This was a slap in the face for a "special". I get better prices for meals in Midtown for things not on special. Midtown! this place thinks it's all high and mighty like Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Fries are cheap, man. Throw in a handful of them per order at least, 8 fries per meal is insulting.
