Browse the shelves for your next great recycled read at our downtown Lawrence location on Massachusetts Street, or in our Manhattan shop in the heart of Aggieville. Lawrence store hours are Mon-Thurs 10am-8pm, Fri-Sat 10am-10pm, Sun 12pm-6pm. Manhattan store hours are Mon-Fri 10am-8pm, Sat 9am-7pm, Sun 11am-5pm.

Great selection of used books for a good price. They also have a cute black cat. Children beware, this cat does not put up with nonsense. If a cat does not want to be pet, do not continue with pets or tread lightly

I love the one in Manhattan more, but the Lawrence one is fantastic too! Used bookstores are the best and this store has great prices on practically any book you could want. If they don't have it available you can request an item and they will give you a call if they get it in. Plus they do store credit, so when you turn in some old books you can use what you earn for some new ones! Also, I am a huge lover of stores with cats, and the cats at the Dusty Bookshelf locations are rescues ❤

I have been coming to this book store for many years. The selection is unique and you can find many out of print books for a reasonable price. There is no database so you have to find the books the old fashion way, wander around and search by category or genre. There is even a reclusive "shop cat" though it is not always amenable to petting. Despite the name of the shop it is clean and well organized. I recommend it to anyone visiting Massachusetts Street. They even have a limited selection of comics and graphic novels.

Best book store in Lawrence. I always find some little gem in this place. I have books I bought in here over a decade ago that I still find myself going back to. This store is absolutely amazing.

Love this place! They helped me rebuild my Harry Potter collection after it was lost in a move, and it only took them a week to source all the books! On top of that, their prices are great and they have a cat. What's not to love?
