If I could give zero stars, I would. I can't tell you about the food, because I never got that far. I stood five minutes, waiting to be seated. Another five minutes and someone shows up for my order. I order a Cajun chicken wrap. THIRTY MINUTES go by without a word. The waitress shows up with a HAMBURGER platter. I politely inform her that I ordered chicken. She goes to the kitchen and comes back to inform it will be another seven minutes. I say goodbye.

It's a great "down to earth", pub/bar, it doesn't pretend to be anything else. The food's good, the beer's good, the staff are pleasant. Shame it shuts at 9.00. But, then again, most other places in Franconia are shut for the summer anyhow. Or it seemed that way. Great place... Keep the faith 😉

Food is really good. Plenty of space inside. But, it's so HOT inside. No A/C. Hardly any parking.

Previous frozen haddock for fish and chips. All lettuce was limp, lemon looked old and off color, tartar sauce looked old, coldslaw was salty. They didn't have my first choice for a meal...and a family got up and left before ordering. Should have followed. Server was nice and polite, but the fly that keep hovering was less than desired.

The Treat will surprise you. It looks a little low-rent, with a pool table in the bar and usually a crew right at the bar, but the food is very good and the drinks are generous. It's a popular local place, and the service is friendly and pretty efficient (although if you show up with 10 people on a busy night, it could take a while.) Most of the food is made in-house and the ingredients are fresh, mostly from local farms. The burgers are fresh angus beef and really good. We're local and go a couple of times a month.
