Had a great evening with delicious seafood and we received amazing service all night. We originally came in for the Lighted Boat Parade Preview Friday night; it was fairly busy with a 20 minute wait, but we opted for a seat at the bar to the left of the restaurant facing the windows. Our waiter offered happy hour specials that had about 15 minutes left and ordered the calamari, oysters, and a couple drinks. For the process we assumed they would be small plates but it was literally a bucket-full and served with some unique sauces! Oysters were local and delicious. Later ordered the Sand Dabs to share and they split it for us with two beautiful portions, and it was only $1 split charge. The fish was buttery and full of flavor with the rice and capers a perfect pairing. There was a small cup of coleslaw that didn't make a lot of sense with the dish, but would have been great with a sandwich. It also came with a cup of clam chowder that was hot and clam-plentiful with good seasoning. The actual Morro Bay Boat Parade Preview was pretty minimal with about 5 boats and a couple fun twirls; but the food, drinks, and service really made it a great night.

Definitely in my top three places to go in Morro Bay for lunch. Restaurant is visualy nice, very clean and has a great view. Staff is always friendly and the food is consistent and good time after time. I Love the bar and have tried a few of the specialty drinks which are amazing. Atmosphere is fun for locals and tourists alike.

Good food. Good atmosphere. We had fish and chips, and calamari and chips. The 3 fish fillets were very thick and cooked perfectly. Batter was a nice golden brown color. Very delicious. Not super greasy. Calamari was cooked perfectly with a light crust. Large portions of calamari. Fries cooked light, airy and crispy. I gave only 4 stars because cole slaw was not very chilled, and a bit bland. Great place, though. We will return.

The service here was great, our waitress was kind friendly and accommodating. They have a kids menu and will bring you crayons for coloring on it. I have the chowder and salad combo. The salad was uneventful, the dressing was kind of bland. The Chowder was not impressive. They do bring you oyster crackers with the chowder. Others with me raved about the french fries.

The place is always welcoming whether we show up with a party of 20 or 3 we get the same kind of attention from the staff. And Jared's Bloody Mary's are liquid awesome! We drank them too fast for a photo! 10/9/17 We got the pleasure of going back and this time I got pictures of the Bloody Mary! I have never liked Bloody Mary's until I tried the one here, so delicious. After all this time this is our go to place when we are in the area! The service never fails us, and the food is delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, great service, and just an all around welcoming atmosphere!
