Story

We are an outpatient physical therapy center that specializes in the treatment of orthopedics, hand, spine, and sports injuries. Our mission statement is to achieve unmatched patient and physician satisfaction by providing the highest quality physical therapy possible. We feel over the past eight years we have achieved this goal. This is evident by a 98% patient satisfaction rating and being voted by readers of Charleston Newspapers as “Best Physical Therapist” for seven years in a row – 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. We feel this really speaks to the loyalty and perceptions of our patients and physicians. The best “quality therapy” has and always will be our goal.

The center opened in October 2003 with 3 employees and a 2300 square foot building. The company has dramatically grown to over 20 employees and into a 6000 square foot facility (December 2010), and upgraded to a larger facility once again in 2015.

Our staff has achieved National Certification and specialties in the following areas: Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer, McKenzie Certified Neck and Low Back Specialist. Corrective Exercise Specialist. Performance Enhancement Specialist. ImPact Trained Athletic Trainer. Youth Exercise Specialist. This unique combination of highly skilled and certified staff members is one of the primary reasons that we achieve success with our patients.

We realize that many injuries are not simply physical and each individual that comes through our doors must be treated as an individual. This is where the art of Physical Therapy comes into play. All of our therapists are very experienced, friendly, and communicate very well. We understand that communication is essential for good results and we also understand that we must do our best to step into the patient’s shoes to understand their situation in order to help and empower them to achieve a complete recovery and to develop a very positive relationship with them.


We have contractual agreements and provide Athletic Training Services to Charleston Catholic High School, George Washington High Shchool, Riverside High School, Capitol High School, and South Charleston High School (through Kanawha County Board of Education). The center has provided hundreds of free physical therapy evaluations and visits over the past 7 years for student athletes. Policy of 3 free visits for student athletes.
