Hidden gem. Large spaces, spectacular views of the river valley. Many different pavilions and places to rest and just enjoy the beauty. Always seems to be a nice breeze on even the hottest days blowing through the many hundred plus year old trees. Wildlife abounds, from squirrels, to deer . Eagle viewing is some of the best anywhere.

Eagle Point is a beautiful park with lots of great lookout points over the Mississippi in the tri state area. There was ample parking, numerous beautiful shelters, and many outdoor gathering areas. There are huge, awesome trees all over the park, too. So much fun!

There is a small charge for each vehicle to enter. Fabulous view of Lock and Dam #11 and the Mississippi River. Lots of trees with shade. Several play areas for kids though some are showing their age. Frank Lloyd Wright inspired pavilions. Bathroom we're well maintained.

This place is a must see in Dubuque. With spectacular riverside views, large picnic areas, playgrounds, and a fish pond you can't go wrong stopping here.

Great park for bird watching, watching boats (especially going through the lock), or just for a pleasant walk.  There are a ton of pavillions, and ample parking. And it only costs $1 per car.
