We want to help you improve the health and well being of your pet. We provide a caring and protective environment where families can obtain primary care for their pets. We believe that our first responsibility is to be an advocate for pets and secondly to foster the human-animal bond. We commit to continually educate our clients, the community, and ourselves. I moved to Atlanta a few years ago and left behind a fantastic vet at my previous home. When I first got here, I took my dogs to a different intown vet, and while the doctor and his vet techs were knowledgeable and thorough, his office staff was unfriendly and didn't seemed to really care. When I started bringing my dogs to East Atlanta Animal Clinic I found what I was looking for. Dr. Schilke and all the staff have provided great medical care for my pets, and they remember us when we come in. I recently had to take one of my dogs to an emergency vet over the weekend, and someone from East Atlanta Animal Clinic called me the next week to check up on her. They make an effort to really care about their patients (and their patients' owners) and it shows.

We take all three of our dogs here, the vet is very professional and nice and I love how close they are to our house!

Dr Starnes and Emily (licensed technician) are the BEST and very conscientious of my emotional state of mind.  I refused to allow anyone but Dr Starnes to do the surgery because of her knowledge of the issue and her history with Cayman. Many thanks to everyone at the East Atlanta Animal Clinic for the understanding of my emotional up and downs for the past 3 weeks. Cayman is doing great and will continue to go to this clinic. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart ❤️

My dog Dylan is a hot mess. She is not friendly, barks at everyone, and nervously poops. I am not talking about a little poodle either, she is a large boxer mix! I love her anyway, of course, and the staff at EAAC does too. Dr. Starnes is so patient with this crazy dog and her even more neurotic owner. I drive out of my way and take a day off of work to bring Dylan for her annual, and I will do it every year of her life. It's worth it. The staff here is always happy to see her, even though she is a pain at times! They joke with mer about how stressful the experience is, listen to my concerns, and treat her like a family member, which, to me, she is. I wish there were 10 stars to give these folks!
