Everyone there at the clinic is extremely helpful and caring. They took my sick cat in after hours immediately and made him comfortable and watched him non-stop. Dr. Will Draper was generous and compassionate due to my stressful situation, not just with my cat Kayne but with other personal issues. You honestly couldn't ask for anything more. This clinic went above and beyond to help someone in need.  Thank you very much. Will defiantly come back and spread the word.

The doctors and front desk staff have always been amazing....until today.  

The practice was great about calling me in advance to review expected charges related to todays dental and cherry eye surgery.  As I waited in the lobby to get my pet I joked around with the front desk staff about my bill.  Of course I paid it but reviewed it a few times.....it was $891.  Another customer in the lobby weighed in about how services can be expensive.  Overall it was a light conversation with a few jokes.  The front desk even giggled as we talked.

When the tech brought my dog over to me he said she had a little diarrhea from the surgery but when he placed her in my arms she smelled like poop- it was so bad, he said he would bathe her.  
The receptionist mistakenly thought I asked to see the vet so she disappeared and when she returned told me the vet would see me in Room #1.  Side note:  On another occasion when my dogs boarded at Village Vets upon picking them up, they smelled like poop.
The vet entered the room and began pointing his finger at me yelling.  I was in total shock.  He said, “this is a hospital not a place for boarding and we told you that your dog may have diarrhea.”  He went on to say, “I don’t appreciate you being disrespectful in the lobby so don’t come back to my practice.”  
Again, I was in total shock.  I told him we were having a little fun and there was nothing malicious about our conversation.
Needless to say, we will never return to their practice.  It’s a sad day when one isn’t able to crack a smile to lighten the intensity of the stress in ones life.  Further, diarrhea is one thing, smelling like you bathed in poop in another.  Be well.

The Village Vets meet and exceed expectations!  

I had to schedule an impromptu visit for my dog in order to try to alleviate pain caused by dental extraction at another vet clinic.

Their staff and veterinarians were extremely conscientious, professional...and most importantly, excellent at their job.

Highly recommended!

This is the best animal hospital I've ever been to. The staff is excellent from the techs to the doctors. Dr Prather is wonderful. I have brought my pets here for scheduled visits and late night emergency care. Each time the staff is very helpful and the cost is better than reasonable. I would highly recommend!

They've been super sweet, helpful, and accomodating. Great service and a friendly staff with good memories, feels very welcoming ti be remembered. 

Be very specific on what you're asking for and what you're getting, as we had a pricing misunderstanding on an emergency follow-up due to a bad reaction to medication (no one's fault, our kitty just can't handle steroids and this was the day we discovered it), but it was resolved quickly and without any real fuss. Highly recommended.
