Multi-generational, family-owned hardware store in the heart of downtown Charleston - right next to the Harris Teeter.

Come shop for all of your hardware needs, and check out our range of orchids, gifts, vintage clothes and accessories, or pick up a homemade pie and some farm fresh eggs while you're here.

Our knowledgeable staff has decades of hardware experience and can offer suggestions for your home improvement projects.

The store cats - 15 year-old Stella and new kittens Pratt & Lambert - keep our location vermin-free and are always ready for cuddles from customers.

I tried to return an item any was treated like i was trying to scam them. Luckily the item was inexpensive. I certainly would not trust buying trust buying anything from them that costs more than a couple bucks. I would have recieced much better service from a box store.

A great place and great people. Always helpful, and even though it is relatively small, they always seem to have what I'm looking for.

The staff here is immensely helpful. Every time I have gone into this store someone has shown me where to look for what I'm searching for and often times helped me come up with an even better solution. It's always a very personal experience. You feel like they know you, unlike larger hardware stores. Prices are very fair and there has always been a parking spot available. In response to a previous review, I have had between 5-6 keys made here and never had an issue with any of them.

Key machine is ancient. Never have gotten a key made right here. Always have to go back multipe times. Staff is friendly but no a place to duplicate key
