Story

The officer's here at East Canton Police Department is a customer service agency that provides law enforcement service to the Villiage residents of East Canton . This service includes patrol, investigations and crime prevention activities. We have an open door policy and encourage you to call or stop by anytime you have questions or Inquiries.
The goal of our department is to promote and maintain a safe environment for residents and visitors. We rely on the involvement of the community to accomplish this goal. Any time you see or hear suspicious activity, or something that simply does not seem right, do not hesitate to contact us.

Mission

Department Purpose and Mission

The purpose of every police agency is based upon the protection of and service to its citizens. The East Canton Police Department exists to provide that protection of life and property as well as a high level of police service.

It is the mission of the East Canton Police Department to prevent crime through education and awareness and to apprehend violators of the law when crime occurs. We complete our mission of enforcement of state laws, local ordinances and federal statutes through the implementation of modern police methods with the highest level of professional standards and ethics.

The members of the East Canton Police Department reflect pride in their community, their agency and their chosen profession by the zeal which they accomplish this mission.
