Officer Watkins was extremely rude, he did not want to listen to the full details of a missing persons circumstances, kept telling me to be quiet and listen or the call was over. I was the first person to realize this person was missing, there were extenuating circumstances, she is a mute and had just broken her phone. Got on a shuttle bus in Canton, OH. I confirmed it, and no one has seen her since. He said since her family or friends hadn't reported anything, he wouldn't help. I was the only one who knew she was missing! This officer is the reason Police get a bad Rep. I stop and shake hands with every officer I see, every time just to say "Thank You!" Officer Watkins had the crime solved in his own mind before getting any additional information because he refused to let me speak. I am disgusted with this Officer, and possibly this Department if they don't help with this situation. BTW, Greyhound Bus Lines are absolutely useless.

We had a great experience with canton pd tonight. My son had $120 robbed from him when he was trying to buy a pair of shoes. Not even 10 minutes later I got a call saying they got the kids who did it and the money. So the money was returned and the kids are being dealt with.

Officer Jakupca spent time with my granddaughter, I am very appreciative to him for that.

The Canton police truly floor me. I have witnessed on several occasions, they were called to a scene and did not step out of the car. One involved a domestic animal, dying, locked in an abandoned house. Another involved a gang of several violent adults and children, engaging in physical fights, and agressing nearby citizens. Canton police drove by and did not exit their cruiser. That is not sufficient police work. I've also witnessed Canton police escalating a simple conversation with a completely calm individual into an argument that could've been avoided had the Canton police been educated in conflict management. Which is, in and of itself, the job of law enforcement. Honor, protect and respect the community you serve to create a trusting environment between the community and the police. I would not call the Canton police if my life deepened on it, which is sad
