(2015 Grad) Aside from the bad reviews that were made by uninformed individuals who never attended the school, I had a great experience at Wichita East. The IB program is challenging, their music department is one of the best in the state, their business teachers are great and will help prepare you for the real world, and overall I had a great experience at the school. Everyone will have a different experience but I feel like I had a choice in what I was able to accomplish. The numerous poor reviews are regarding a administrative decision where the principal did not allow a special-needs student to wear a varsity jacket because he did not play varsity. You can decide for yourself if that's a reason to hate the entire school - I always found the staff and even the students to be very friendly to the special-needs students at East.

This school is not as bad as people say it is, it was called the best school in the world or something, SO IT CANT BE BAD! Something happened 2 years ago that was really bad, but you have to move on with life! Overall this school is very good and weird at the same time.

Ken Thiessen you just earned your letter. A scarlet letter. This scarlet letter and your halitosis are the two things that will be apart of your East High legacy. I suspect with this form of "social Darwinist " mentality that you are most likely a conservative voter.

This school is ok, some of the teacher should have picked a different career (Dr. Mau) but most are actually helpful.

It's a pretty nice school I would say all teachers are awesome and good at teaching.
