I came home from work today with my dog unable to get up. I immediately called the vet and they said I could bring her in at 4:30. The school bus was late dropping my boys off and we were late for our appointment. We arrived late and were turned away and told to take her to the emergency room because apparently 55 minutes is not enough time for them to look at a dog that is in pain. This was my first, only, and last experience with East Oak. What kind of veterinarian turns away an animal in pain?

What a great crew and facility. We called at the last minute close to closing time (within less than hour) and they took us right in. We'll be back with our other dogs when needed.
