Dr Walker is great! He treated my elderly mother so well. The only reason I took off a star is because I dropped off my mom’s med list and it never got recorded into her record so I had to get them again.
Had a great follow-up appt. Dr. Watcher is amazing. Wait times are short and I new remodel looks great. Dr. Watcher is very personable, and complete. Everyone there is great.
Met with Dr. Hiendlmayr today for the first time ever. I have never needed to see a cardiologist before so of course I was alittle nervous and worried due to the seriousness of potential heart concerns. Dr. Hiendlmayr took his time, asked millions of questions and really tried his best to empathize with me and my symptoms. He gave us his opinion based on the EKG but insisted on doing additional testing to verify his theory. This is something I greatly appreciated. When it comes to medical you should never assume, and always verify. He was very kind and loving to us. I can’t say good enough things about him, and the staff at the Idaho heart institute.
Terrible experience. Doctor showed up late. Told me that I was fat and lying. I told her I tried to go on a hike and my heart rate elevated to 200. She said "hike the tetons you will be huffing and puffing there" Then tried to tried to charge me for an EKG that didn't happen. A year later they are still trying to charge me.
The front staff, Dr walkner, and the staff to check out are all very kind. It was a short wait time. Over all a good experience.
Today was my second follow up with NP Dan Hunting. He is exactly what we’ve needed in the medical community. He was thorough, compassionate, funny and just a real human. I finally got the answers and a treatment plan in place for my heart. He has changed my life and future. My faith in the medical community has been restored. All the staff were friendly and welcoming too. A totally different experience than 2 years ago. Thank you Dan!!
I came in today for an appointment at 10 am. Arrived and checked in at 9:50. I wasn't taken back to a room until 10:45 and from there wasn't seen by a provider until 11. The provider spent less than 5 minutes with me, stating that they haven't yet received the results from my monitor so they were going to have to call me with the results at a later date. I then had to wait another 20 minutes for a nurse to come and check me out. I would be a little less frustrated, but I even called them this morning to confirm the appointment - That would have been the perfect time for them to say that they didn't actually have the results they needed yet. It was a huge amount of time wasted over what could have been an easy phone call.
I had two appointments scheduled for the same day. These appointments had been scheduled for the last month! When I talked to the person at the front desk to check in they said my appointment wasn't until later. I said I had two app ointments. She said the first one was canceled. I asked why. She didn't say anything just typed for a minute then said the first one was canceled because we can't do the testing here someone was supposed to call you but they didn't. No explanation what I needed to do either until I asked where do I have to go for the testing then. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where they care about you and your time and will treat you with respect. They lost my paperwork I filled out a month ago and had to refill it out again also.
The counter had patients charts out in the open so everyone could see. HIPPA violations! The lap top quit working halfway through our visit, so the doctor had nothing to go on except for a few notes. She could access our images from the hospital to help exlain our situation. The whole thing was a nightmare!
Dr. Chambers is amazing. His recepitonist area leaves alot to be desired for. Called Monday morning and she seemed put out to even answer the phone. Dr. Chambers ordered an MRI and the receptionist told me I needed to follow up on it. PATHETIC> Dr. Chambers, you really need to do something about your front end help up there. Very unprofessional. I sit still unscheduled.
