My brother and I had so much fun wandering the Eastern Market on a cold Fall morning. There is a huge variety of things to shop for including art, textiles, hats, toys, jewelry, and an abundance of great produce, meats/fish, other foods and fresh flowers in the market hall. We enjoyed lunch from the vendors outside. I had an amazing shrimp and grits meal, and my brother had equally good Mexican food. Not to be missed!

An ideal place to visit on the weekend! A true market with vendors from all over, selling goods and foods from around the world. Last time I went, a man was selling Greek olives from his family's vineyard in Greece, and there was fresh produce from right around the DC area. Ditch conventional shops and stores, and spend part of your day among this multicultural community.

My favorite place to get fresh food. From fresh baked cookies to raw food this is the best place to shop. The parking sucks😕 bring your money to pay for parking is the best option.

Since gentrification, one of the few places left to get fresh cut meats and poultry and seafood. For singles and small families, saves you from having to buy those supermarket packages. Finding parking is difficult and will become more so after all of the new businesses are open but it is near a Metro stop if you are not buying much.

Always enjoy the experience...food always fresh..got exactly what I wanted was glad to be there had not been in over a year. .parking a little wild im disabled...but it worked out to....just our blessed day. ❤
