Well the room was great we called 5 mins before we arrived late 1:00 am and was greeted with a smile and don't worry we can take care of you. The room was up date ,clean ,spacious granite counters in the bathroom. I like that as I always have so much stuff that I need to put on the bathroom counter. I love the wall mounted blow dryer . I'm a licensed hairdresser so if I'm complimenting the dryer it must be great. I would love,love one for my bathroom . Toilet and shower were clean and well maintained. The hand soap was also perfect a perfect size for showering, usually they give a soap that is so small and not shaped for easy use in the shower .these were perfect. They smelled great as well. The beds really nice, very comfortable and clean . Something I really liked 3 pillows per bed nice fluffy good sized pollows. They were very comfortable to sleep on and I'm very picky. 2 double beds , a microwave oven, good size small refrigerator,ironing board and iron all were in the room . I good size flat screen lcd TV . Several chairs and table , dresser. For 63.00 dollars and if you have AAA you also get a discount. Comes with a breakfast as well . What's not to like . It was great. Will stay here again . 2 thumps up.

For its price, it's decent. Checked in at 1pm and relaxed before continuing the day's events. The bed was comfy, ac worked well. The nonsmoking room that we had smelled just fine. Downside was that the pool was green so I didn't dare step in it.

Clean and newly remodeled. Affordable. Would definitely sray here again.

I recently stayed at the Econolodge North in Battleboro, North Carolina room 116. I checked in on Monday, November 26, and stayed all week through the following Friday. I must say I was extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the newly renovated motel room. The hardwood floor had not been mopped nor was it the entire time I was there, and what appeared to be feces was noted on the bathroom wall about a foot above the toilet paper holder. The light switch was filthy, as well as the bathtub (hair in there that wasn’t mine) and commode (something green on the outside of the bowl). As a travel nurse, I am very conscientious when it comes to germs and as a professional, I am clean and neat. I travel frequently through NC, SC, TN, and VA; I always look for the best deal and more often use an AirB&B or rent a room for the length of my contract. This is a good example of why I choose to use other options when available. On a positive note, Fred and Sonya were extremely helpful, polite, and courteous. I would almost be willing to bet the floor still hasnt been mopped and there is still a smear of feces on that wall in room 116. If your housekeepers can’t or won’t take more pride in their positions, then they should find a different career or place of employment. The only thing that was done in my room the entire week I was there...the trash was emptied and towels were changed out.

Service was non existent, and I had to wait 20 minutes for a room even though I was the only one in line. The air conditioning was TOO good and the room was freezing. Even though outside was 80 - 90°F. When I tried to turn the heat on there was this foul smell that I've never smelled before. The rest of the night consisted in sleeping in uncomfortable beds, waking up and leaving as fast as we could to our next destination. There are much better places to stay almost across the street. Just go there instead.
