I called leasing office around 10 times in 3 days no one picked the call, left call back voice messages....but did't get any call back which shows how tenant un-friendly is this.

We moved into the Edgewood in June of 2016, having always been Seattleites. Edgewood has been the most beautiful, well taken-care-of, well-managed, safe, and friendly communities in which we've ever lived. Special acknowledgment goes to Evan Brown (the Senior Property Manager for Edgewood), whom I have witnessed go above and beyond everyday for the tenants of The Edgewood Park. His dedication to outstanding customer relations while also running a successful business is, to me, a great example of all the quality hallmarks that a property manager ought to possess. But he does not make the magic at Edgewood happen alone. Sara Potts and Andrew Beyer comprise Evan's phenomenal Leasing Consultant/Assistant Property Manager Team. Their kindness, sense of urgency, empathy, efficiency, and ability to perform under pressure makes these two top notch. And last, but certainly not least, Tariq is head of maintenance and a great guy. What I have admired most about Tariq is his way of treating every maintenance concern the same...they're all important in his eyes and all handled in a timely manner. He is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Again, a big PAT ON THE BACK for the Edgewood Park Crew. Thank you for all of your hard work!

HUGE MISTAKE!!! We searched for the perfect apartment for our daughter who was attending Bellevue College. We were lured into this apartment with false information regarding expenses and fake attentiveness by management. I spent 5 hours trying to clean black mold from the bathroom before she moved in and, when bringing our concern to the manager, was told that it was not black mold. After a month of persistence, we finally convinced them to do a test. They came into the apartment with an aggressive, defensive attitude until their "machine" started going crazy, indicating the presence of black mold before they even got to the bathroom. Also, we were lied to about the utility expenses, being told that they ranged from $40-$50 per month. Our first bill for this 450 square foot apartment was more than the amount we pay for our 3800 square foot home. This seemed like a valid concern to talk to management about, yet they became confrontational and extremely rude. I was the signer on the LEASE AGREEMENT, however they refused to talk to me, insisting that my daughter be the one to handle things. We continued to pay our rent and other expenses on time EVERY MONTH, never called for maintenance (yet shared a maintenance charge every time someone else in the apartment called for help), yet were treated with disrespect and extreme rudeness. They even went as far as telling my daughter that they don't like us (her parents). When my daughter traded in her car, we attempted to pull off the parking sticker, yet it tore into pieces. Despite having to pay for her parking spot each month, management charged us another $10 for a new sticker! I would definitely have paid even $2 for this 10 cent item, but $10? Besides, if they are charging that much, then their stickers should peel easily. PLEASE take this advice to heart - they will grab your attention with what you think will be fantastic care and reasonable expenses, but you will quickly find yourself regretting your decision! Needless to say, we moved our daughter out of that building when our lease lapsed and she is paying less money for a beautiful apartment with exceptional staff! KEEP LOOKING!!!!

Everyone from the leasing office staff to the maintenance personnel are very professional, friendly, and considerate. The community itself is very clean, well kept, and serene. I lease a studio, which is pleasantly spacious, and comes complete with an in-unit washer & dryer, dishwasher, and all the other amenities you'd expect an apartment to have; plus, the water pressure is fantastic! =)

So if you ever expect to have the same shred of sanity or respect for the human race DON'T EVER MOVE HERE. I MEAN IT DON'T. SERIOUSLY This is your warning. This despicable place disguises itself as an apartment community. Community is far from it. The management here is the ABSOLUTE WORST. After making my complaints known about the utility bill going up even after they shut off water in multiple buildings at the same time for 1-2.5 weeks, the utility bill for two people on average was still $150/month (W/S/Trash) ONLY!!! I've never paid such an outrageous price for (W/S/Trash)! Also they might try to lure you in with great deals or even LIE TO YOUR FACE about assigned parking. GUESS WHAT they don't assign parking and they charge a $50/month for a "carport fee". THERE ARE NO CARPORTS AROUND! They took away our dryer in the middle of the summer for 2.5 weeks to do upgrades to the electrical, plumbing and dryer vents WITHOUT ANY Compensation! This was one of the reasons why I chose this place. I wrote complaints on yelp and now on google. After seeing my complaints the lady in the management office decides to confront me face to face as to WHY I posted such a scathing review for them. SERIOUSLY YOU NEED TO ASK WHY?!?!? I'm sure this lady is a great person to get to know and she is only doing her due diligence for the company that she works for however, my roommate and many tenants feel wronged by this management company. They WILL nickel and dime you for everything to cover the cost of the upgrades they are doing to the other apartments! To top it off after putting down a $450 deposit for pet deposit and regular deposit we still owe $500 for "repairs/cleaning/remaining utility" after moving out. There were no gaping holes in our walls just small ones from thumb tacks and they charged $200 for painting the entire apartment after we moved out. Also they have shag carpet in the apartments so if you have pets expect to pay about $600 to replace it at the end of a year lease. Yanno because shag carpet is the best stuff to put in apartments in the PNW.
