I HATE that I have to give them 1 star. DO NOT PARK HERE. The parking attendant physically ASSAULTED and then overcharged my credit card without my authorization. See Yelp review, NOT the first time this has happened at this lot. See details below. At approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning (Saturday, November 25, 2017). I dropped my car off at a parking lot called Edison ParkFast located at 272 Spring Street, New York, NY and paid the parking attendant $15 in cash for the parking spot, which was good for up to 12 hours. I did confirm with the parking attendant several times that the cost of the spot was only $15 for 12 hours, which he confirmed (numerous times). This was my first time parking in a NYC lot and I, foolishly, do not recall what I did with the receipt (if I ever even received one from the parking attendant at all). Then, at approximately 7:45pm, I went to pick my car up from the parking lot. When I arrived at the parking lot, the parking attendant (a different attendant) was extremely hostile towards me from the second I walked in. He insisted that I did not pay earlier and that I now had to pay $35. I respectfully explained to him that I had already paid and, moreover, the parking attendant from the morning had confirmed that the cost of the parking spot was only $15 (and certainly not $35). The parking attendant ignored me entirely and insisted that I pay $35 or he would not return my car to me. I refused to authorize payment for the parking spot and informed the parking attendant that I was getting my wallet out of my car, but was leaving my car in the lot since I refused to pay AGAIN for the parking spot. When I opened my car door to get my wallet, the parking attendant grabbed me and attempted to pull me away from my car. In the process of grabbing me from my car, the parking attendant also hit me with my own keys. As I attempted push him off of me, in order to protect myself, one of my key rings (that the parking attendant was holding) got caught on my finger and ripped off my nail causing it to bleed painfully. At this point, I yelled at the parking attendant to get off of me, at which point he grabbed my credit card and (without authorization) charged me $35 for the parking spot - that I had already paid for. I informed him that I was an attorney and that his conduct constituted physical assault. He continued to ignore me and never attempted any form of apology for physically assaulting me. I was so frazzled and upset that I drove straight home. I did not immediately call the police to the scene as this was not an urgent emergency. However, I am very upset about the conduct exhibited by this parking attendant and am filing this complaint to ensure that he never assaults another customer again like he did to me.

Ripped me off on Jeep parking as 'oversized vehicle" I've been parking at this lot since 2010 when I work on Varick st. Parked there last month and was charged $56.00 for an oversized vehicle. I've been driving a TWO DOOR jeep wrangler for 18 years. At this lot and any other brand name lot ( Icon, Quick park etc) I've never been charged more for a 2 door BUT they do charge more for the 4 door and other larger cars and trucks. The attendant said they 'guy' I needed to speak to was not there and would not be there till morning. I was leaving town for a month and got back today and was told "OH no- we always charge more for those" "We can't fit it under the lift. It's too high". Funny how that was never a problem the last 8 years. They said sometimes the guys put it in as oversize, sometimes they don't. Well which is it? They have to tell you when you park it's considered oversize- they did not. Every other lots has a LIST of cars and trucks that are considered oversize- they don't. Beware. I ended up parking a block away at ICON and they seemed to have no problem at all parking me under the lift and charging me are a regular car.

Had a great experience here. Staff was friendly and quick. Parking is expensive anywhere in Manhattan and this is no exception but rates were better than others I found.

Facility person locked my keys in my car, during a worsening blizzard...I had to wait 45 minutes, in accumulating snow and ice. Although the attendant was quite nice, allowing me to sit in his booth, the wait created treacherous conditions for me, on my drive home. Attendant offered the explanation that my car mysteriously "locked itself"....(As ALL cars with passive alarms do)...Keeping keys in the booth, as many outdoor lots do, would have prevented this from happening. I won't take a chance at this lot, again.
